Our fundraising efforts are successful because we’re lucky enough to have people donate furniture, good quality second-hand clothing, bric-a-brac and housewares, so that we can sell it at low cost to people who could not otherwise afford it.
We welcome all donations, especially furniture and clothing that is in a good condition and that can be given a new lease of life for resale.
If you are able to donate furniture, such as a sofa or armchair we will gladly accept it, as long as the fire safety label is still attached. Unfortunately we are unable to accept donated furniture without this label as it will not meet the Trading Standards requirements.
We understand that you may be unable to bring your furniture to us, and we are happy to offer a free of charge pick up service. Please give us seven days notice to pick up your furniture as this will allow us to organise a time that is convenient for both you and us.
To donate furniture to Shropshire Community Project, please complete the form below and we will contact you to confirm your donation. We can collect your furniture donations from Monday to Saturday with morning slots between 9am-1pm and afternoon slots between 1pm-5pm.
To donate any other goods, including good quality second-hand clothing, bric-a-brac and housewares, please pop along with your donations to our Telford stores.
We also willingly accept donations of surplus foods (tins, packets, bottles etc) from local supermarkets, restaurants, hotels and cafes for our social supermarket to prevent it from going to waste. If you are a commerical business, please get in touch with us to discuss how to make a surplus food donation.
Thank you to everyone who donates to Shropshire Community Project and supports us to help those in crisis across the Shropshire region and beyond.
